The international jurors we select for each round have already proven themselves for quite some time. This makes them very capable of distinguishing a good wedding photo from a nice wedding photo. Aspects they pay attention to include: impact, emotion, atmosphere, creativity, use of light, composition and post-processing.
All entries are assessed anonymously, which means that the photographer’s name is not visible, and the jurors are not together to discuss photos.
When 2 or 3 jurors vote for a particular photo, this photo is presented with an award.
A juror cannot see which photo has received a vote from another juror.
A juror can vote for up to 10% of the entries.
There is no minimum with respect to the number of votes per juror
It often feels like James is away more than he is at home. He somehow manages to sustain a somewhat normal life while travelling most weekends for weddings, leaving NZ for Europe during our winters and when he's back home he's usually trying to find somewhere in the mountains to camp.
AMDragan appeared in time as something very personal to us, Marius – “that big haired photographer” and Andra – “that cute and popular photographer on Facebook”. The whole work belongs to us, we learn all the time, we want to get better and better. We love to have happy brides and relaxed grooms that admit that “I didn’t knew it’s so funny to pose”. We are happy and optimistic and the people we are photographing are the same.
Our style of photography is full of colours and joy, exactly what we want to give from the most beautiful day of each’ couple.
Philippe Nieus is a international winning photographer. Regarding him, each moment of the day is very important & requires from the photographer to be in the mean time very concentrated on what's happening and trying to tell even more than a story. His inspirations comes out of the photography's world & allows him to see the world (the wedding) differently. Philippe lives in the South of brussels & covers weddings all over europe & overseas
